‘How Long’ selected for Manchester Film Festival with Chloe Wade

An exploration of the relationship between an autistic teenage girl and her distraught mother in trying to conform to a societal norm, with both characters spiralling and revealing their individual pressures. The film finds them after years of Groundhog Day distress, with the authorities clamping down, and them at breaking point, something or someone has to give. This film is based on true events.
We are delighted to announce the short film How Long, starring our very own Chloe Wade, will be at this years Manchester Film Festival on Friday 27th March 2026, at 8.20pm, Odeon Screen 8.
Screened as part of a collection of 8 films and followed by an onstage Q&A with cast and crew.
