Our debut show, LIVES, was created as a part of Lowry’s Hothouse Artist Development Programme and was performed at Lowry on the 6th & 7th of February 2025.

Without their support this production or Sixth House Theatre would not have been possible.

For the creation of LIVES, we were also successful in receiving funding from the GMCA Culture Fund: Inspire. The fund helped us access equipment for projection-mapping and allowed us to experiment with creative-captioning. The first step towards incorporating technology in our work to fulfill our creative and accessible aspirations.

“ALL RISE! COURT IS NOW IN SESSION”

Set in a courtroom outside time & space, a mother stands in court. Interweaving stories across centuries, different eras, identities, and intimate human moments are cross-examined — from Victorian gardens to doomsday newsrooms — forming arguments for the prosecution and defence.

LIVES, is an ambitious performance exploring the complexity of human relationships & our connection to & impact on the world around us. LIVES examines identity, motherhood, climate justice, love, life & death; blending theatre, dance, puppetry, original music, projection & multiple languages to build immersive worlds that traverse past, present & future.

LIVES is a dynamic exploration of identity & responsibility, inviting audiences to reflect on what it means to exist, connect, & belong in a rapidly changing world.
