DRIFT by Pui-ka Cheng
Our very own Pui-ka Cheng, wrote, directed and performed in her one woman show, DRIFT, at Lowry on the 1st and 2nd of October 2025.
Three generations of women caught in a current of fate: the ripples caused by her mother’s passage, to her own journey, and the path yet to be taken by her daughter.
Commissioned by Lowry and Horizons Collective, supported by New Earth Theatre and funded by Arts Council England, DRIFT weaves together live music, video, puppetry, physical theatre and dance to tell a mesmerizing story about identity, memory, and belonging.
