HEADLONG ORIGINS SCHEME 2025
Our very own Samuel Tracy has been chosen as one of the directors in the 2025 cohort of Headlong’s pioneering Origins programme.
Origins celebrates early career theatre directors from across the UK, outside of London, by inviting them to work closely with the company for 12 months, during which they receive mentorship from leading industry professionals and Headlong’s producing and creative team.
The artists join Headlong’s R&D sessions and workshops, engage with rehearsal processes and see work from theatres across the UK, as they develop their own work and artistic vision.
This year's candidates have also had the opportunity to build close relationships with our theatre, along with Headlong's other Associate Partners: Leeds Playhouse and Bolton Octagon.
