Gabriel Clark (he/him) *

Gabriel is a Queer British-Sardinian actor, writer and director, and the Artistic Director of Switch_MCR Theatre Company.

He is best known for playing Ollie Morgan on Channel 4’s ‘Hollyoaks’. Whilst on the show, he shadowed the Hollyoaks writers room and wrote, directed and produced the digital mini-series ‘Hollyoaks: Ollie’s Diaries’.

Gabriel was a member of the Royal Exchange Theatre Young Company, trained with David Johnson (BEM) and graduated from the University of Manchester with a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in English Literature and Drama. Since leaving Hollyoaks, Gabriel has worked on productions with the Royal Exchange Theatre, The Octagon, The Edge Theatre and HOMEmcr, as well as producing his own work for stage.

Gabriel co-wrote and directed the OFFIE Award-winning horror play The Other Side, which was named as one of ILOVEMCR’s ‘Top 3 Shows of the year’. He was recently shortlisted for the Alpine Fellowship Theatre Prize, Film4 Feature Lab, and the Pride Stages award for his new solo-show exploring Queerness and Northern identity.
