WHO WE ARE
Sixth House Theatre is a brand new theatre company that was created as part of Lowry Theatre’s Hothouse Programme, to support Northern talent.
Formed of six multidisciplinary artists, we utilise our cross-cultural experiences, a total of five languages and our various specialist disciplines – acting, puppetry, dance, music & writing – to develop robust accessible productions that push the boundaries of work today and create prescient, impactful theatre for tomorrow.

Pui-ka Cheng (she/her)
Actor, dubbing artist, puppeteer, drama teacher and director, currently Manchester based. Pui-ka graduated from the Chinese University of HK (Degree in Statistics) and the Drama School of HK Academy of Performing Arts (Major in Acting).
Pui-ka has a passion for puppetry and has collaborated with various puppet theatre groups such as Global Grooves Manchester, Make Friends With Puppet, HK Puppet and Shadow Art Centre and more. In 2023, she designed and produced puppets for the new play “The Wing” at Joyful Theatre. In April 2024, Pui-ka received funding from the Art Council England’s GMCA Inspire Fund to develop and advance her personal puppet-making career.
In the field of drama education, Pui-ka has conducted workshops, seminars, teacher training days, and school tours in over 250 schools, tertiary institutions, and organizations. Starting in February 2025, she will collaborate with Z-arts Manchester to host Harmony Horizons workshops.
Since 2007, Pui-ka has provided Cantonese voice-over work for companies such as Disney, Marvel, Animax, TVN, NGC, and Netflix, voicing significant characters including Ryder for “Paw Patrol”, Zipp Storm for “My Little Pony: A New Generation”, the Rose for “The Little Prince” movie, Angol Mois for “Keroro Gunso the Super Movie”, Barbie for “Toy Story 3”, Ben for “Ben 10”, and more.
From 2020 to 2022, she served as one of the judges for the Hong Kong Drama Awards.
Pui-ka is keen to keep exploring the possibility of body and voice and find out the connection with soul, ontology and the world.
Samuel Tracy (he/him)
Samuel Tracy is an Actor, Theatre-maker and Movement Practitioner born and raised in South-West London.
His training includes RADA, The BRIT school for Performing Arts and Technology, Frantic Assembly Ignition Company and The National Youth Theatre. Samuel’s work ranges from Classical Theatre (Romeo & Juliet at The Southwark Playhouse) cutting edge contemporary new writing (Paines Plough Roundabout Season).
Samuel is also a playwright and is currently producing his own one man show titled Chasing Dragons which received research and development space from Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre.
Chloe Wade (she/her)
Chloe Wade is an actor, writer & producer from Huddersfield.
Chloe is passionate about bold, northern, feminist narratives & creates work that encourages people to challenge societal norms, gives a voice to the voiceless & utilises humour to explore serious issues. In 2022 she set up her own theatre company, Chloe Wade Productions, dedicated to amplifying the unheard voices of women in ‘Herstory.’
Chloe’s first full length play, As SHE Likes It, inspired by the story of #MeToo pioneer Patricia Douglas, reached the top 9% of plays in The Women’s Prize for Playwriting, and has just completed a successful ACE funded tour to 30 midscale venues across the UK, receiving 5-star reviews from various publications & amazing audience feedback (Kathy Burke: ‘Very funny and deeply disturbing’).
Chloe has worked in film, TV and theatre for over 10 years.

Dan Willis (he/him)
Dan is a Salford based Actor Musician & Composer. Most recently he played Jack in Les Enfants Terribles’ 2024 Olivier nominated ‘The House with Chicken Legs’.
Dan has created original music for over 20 theatre productions in addition to scoring and arranging music for short film and recorded media. He was chosen as one of the composers for The European Theatre Convention’s ‘Young Europe’ programme, creating an original production in an exchange residential between Det Norske Teatret, Oslo and Nottingham Playhouse. He has also been a long term associated artist with No Nonsense Theatre Company, Big Window Theatre Company, and The V&A London including creating the original music for their much loved ‘Wendy & the Wallpaper Cat’.

Natassa Argyropoulou (she/her)
Natassa is a Greek freelance dance and performance artist based in the UK.
Her career spans from the contemporary dance sector to the commercial industry and her movement style is influenced by the many dance styles she has come into contact with over the years.
She got her BA from Northern School of Contemporary Dance and soon after graduating, she performed for Akeim Toussaint’s ‘Beatmotion Mass’ and travelled to India for her Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training Course.
She later had the privilege of joining The Grief Series for their project ‘All That Lives’ as a part of Leeds2023, as well as performing in the tour of ‘Off Center’, an outdoor piece of work by Ramped Dance Company.
In 2023/2024, she joined RendezVous Dance Company as a company dancer, which she had also been an apprentice for during her third year at NSCD, for their tour of dance theatre piece ‘The Monocle’; a lesbian cabaret club on the 1930’s Paris.
Natassa also has experience teaching movement in many different contexts, ranging from delivering heels classes at NSCD to teaching contemporary technique for the BA course of Dance & Drama at York St. John University, as well as delivering yoga sessions across different studios.
She is currently working as a performer at ‘Diecast’, ‘Firehouse’ and ‘Albert Schloss’ and will be joining NuaDance Company soon for their new production ‘Bending Reality’ premiering in London over Spring 2025.
Gabriel Clark (he/him)
Gabriel is a Queer British-Sardinian actor, writer and director, and the Artistic Director of Switch_MCR Theatre Company.
He is best known for playing Ollie Morgan on Channel 4’s ‘Hollyoaks’. Whilst on the show, he shadowed the Hollyoaks writers room and wrote, directed and produced the digital mini-series ‘Hollyoaks: Ollie’s Diaries’.
Gabriel was a member of the Royal Exchange Theatre Young Company, trained with David Johnson (BEM) and graduated from the University of Manchester with a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in English Literature and Drama.
Since leaving Hollyoaks, Gabriel has worked on productions with the Royal Exchange Theatre, The Octagon, The Edge Theatre and HOMEmcr, as well as producing his own work for stage.
Gabriel co-wrote and directed the OFFIE Award-winning horror play The Other Side, which was named as one of ILOVEMCR’s ‘Top 3 Shows of the year’. He was recently shortlisted for the Alpine Fellowship Theatre Prize, Film4 Feature Lab, and the Pride Stages award for his new solo-show exploring Queerness and Northern identity.
